Learning Outcomes

  1. Gain a sound and coherent foundation in strategic marketing, such that they will be able to define and execute practical strategic marketing interventions that exist in professional practice.
  2. Apply analytical ability and problem-solving skills in the context of marketing management; Synthesise and critically evaluate theoretical frameworks of strategic marketing, consumer behaviour, brand managements, digital marketing, market research and design and innovation as applied to marketing.

Entry Requirements

Approved centres are responsible for reviewing and assessing applicants’ ability to successfully complete the learning programme and meet the qualification’s demands. The initial assessment conducted by the centre must consider the support readily available or that can be arranged to accommodate individual learner needs, as appropriate.

This qualification has been designed to be accessible, without unnecessary barriers restricting entry. To enrol, applicants must be aged 21 or over and are expected to hold one of the following:

  • A Level 6 qualification, or

  • A first degree.

For applicants whose first language is not English, an IELTS score of 6 (or an equivalent qualification) is required. International qualifications will be verified for compatibility with UK higher education postgraduate programmes, where applicable. Applicants are typically required to provide two supporting references, at least one of which should preferably be academic.
