This qualification has been designed to be inclusive, with no unnecessary barriers to access or progression. Admission is granted following an interview conducted by an approved centre.

In exceptional cases, experienced managers without formal qualifications may be considered, provided they can demonstrate during the interview that they are capable of meeting the programme’s demands.

For applicants whose first language is not English, an IELTS score of 6.0 (or an equivalent qualification) is required. International qualifications will be assessed to ensure they meet the standard for entry onto UK postgraduate higher education programmes. Applicants are typically expected to submit two references, at least one of which should preferably be academic.

To enrol in this Level 7 qualification, learners must meet one of the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT.
• A Level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Three to four years of professional experience in a related field.
• Applicants must be aged 20 or above at the time of enrolment.
