Approved Centres are responsible for reviewing and assessing the applicant’s ability to successfully complete the learning programme and meet the qualification’s demands. The initial assessment by the Centre must consider the support readily available or that can be arranged to accommodate individual learner needs, as appropriate.

This qualification has been designed to be accessible, without unnecessary barriers restricting entry. Applicants must be aged 19 or over to enrol.

For applicants whose first language is not English, an IELTS score of 6 (or equivalent) is required. International qualifications will be verified to ensure they meet the entry requirements for UK higher education postgraduate programmes, where applicable. Applicants are typically required to provide two supporting references, at least one of which should preferably be academic.
