This qualification has been developed to enhance the professionalism of the global TEFL sector. The programme is designed to equip learners with the academic knowledge, practical skills, and professional attributes required to start a career as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher.

The Level 5 programme ensures that learners acquire a solid understanding of language systems and widely used teaching methodologies, preparing them for a career in TEFL. Upon completion, learners will be capable, independent novice teachers, equipped to design and deliver appropriate lessons and courses for their students without additional support if needed. Additionally, optional (non-accredited) short follow-on courses are available, allowing learners to specialise in a particular teaching area should they wish to do so.
