Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare

Qualification Overview

The purpose of the Diploma is to provide recognition for those who wish to develop their abilities in teaching and assessing learners competently within a regulated environment. It is envisaged that all Qualifi centres will support learners in furthering their knowledge of assessment, enabling them to produce consistent, standardised assessment reports and deliver appropriate feedback to learners.

This qualification will enable learners to become independent, self-directed individuals equipped with the tools and motivation to continue learning, developing, and reflecting on their practice throughout their careers.

Learners who successfully complete this qualification will adopt an analytical and practical approach to all aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing inclusive teaching and learning. Throughout this process, candidates will integrate theories and principles in early learning and childcare, demonstrating them effectively in their practice.
