Qualification Overview

This practical, knowledge-based qualification has been designed to enhance practitioners’ skills, competencies, and expertise in using a hand-held microblade for eyebrow enhancement. It enables learners to build confidence and gain hands-on experience while collecting evidence in a realistic or actual working environment.

The Certificate equips learners with the essential knowledge and skills to perform eyebrow microblading professionally, preparing them to work commercially within the field of aesthetic practice. Additionally, it provides opportunities for learners to develop the necessary abilities to progress into further study or employment.

To achieve this qualification a learner must successfully complete all three mandatory units.

Microblading techniques to enhance eyebrows

Learning Outcomes

Health, Safety, and Hygiene in Aesthetic Procedures – Learners will gain the knowledge and skills required to implement essential health, safety, and hygiene protocols when preparing for aesthetic treatments.
Client Consultation for Aesthetic Procedures – This component supports the practical technical units within the qualification. Learners will develop the ability to conduct thorough consultations to assess and, where necessary, modify procedures to align with the client’s needs and achieve optimal results.
Micropigmentation Techniques for Eyebrow Enhancement – Learners will learn to enhance eyebrow features by creating natural-looking hair strokes using a handheld microblading tool.

Entry Requirements

This qualification is intended for learners aged 18 and over. To enrol in the Qualifi Level 4 Certificate in Microblading to Enhance Eyebrows, applicants must have previously completed a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field. Centres are responsible for confirming that this qualification is suitable for the learner’s ability and that they possess the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills to successfully complete it.
The qualification has been developed to be inclusive, with no unnecessary barriers to entry or progression. Admission is determined through a centre-conducted interview, with each learner assessed on an individual basis.
In some cases, applicants with significant industry experience but no formal qualifications may also be considered. This will depend on their performance in the interview and their ability to demonstrate they can meet the programme’s demands.
