Qualifi Level 3 Diploma in Data Science

Qualification Overview

The QUALIFI Level 3 Diploma in Data Science is designed to introduce learners to the field of data science and develop their understanding of key concepts.

This diploma offers a modern and comprehensive overview of data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML), tracing their evolution from the emergence of AI and ML in the late 1950s to the advent of the “big data” era in the early 2000s, as well as current applications and associated challenges. Alongside foundational machine learning models—such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, and k-means clustering—the course explores two innovative and emerging areas of data science: synthetic data and graph data science.

Additionally, learners will gain insight into the data analytics landscape and essential analytical tools. The diploma includes an introduction to Python programming, enabling learners to analyse, explore, and visualise data, as well as implement basic data science models.

Upon successful completion of the QUALIFI Level 3 Diploma in Data Science, learners will be well-prepared to advance to further study or pursue employment opportunities in the field.
